Welcome Dinner Mainz hat sich nach der Idee von Welcome Dinner Hamburg entwickelt. Wir fanden die Sache so toll, dass wir so etwas unbedingt auch in Mainz ins Leben rufen wollten.

Die Flüchtlinge können Mainz und Mainzer/innen besser kennenlernen (und nebenbei vielleicht das ein oder andere neue Gericht), und diese können im Gegenzug auch ohne große finanzielle Mittel oder viel Zeitaufwand einfach nur mit ihrer Freundlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft helfen. Und vielleicht entsteht ja auch die ein oder andere Freundschaft dadurch...

Das ganze Projekt lebt von Eurer Gastfreundschaft und Eurer Teilnahme. Also schnell oben ins Anmeldeformular eintragen! :)

Willkommen ist natürlich jeder, egal ob Student, Arbeitsloser, Eigenheimbesitzer, Manager, Schüler, Hausfrau, Azubi, egal ob große Wohnung oder kleine, ob Haus oder WG, egal ob Sterne-Koch-Qualitäten, Hobbykoch oder Kochneuling; im Mittelpunkt steht die Begegnung.

Welcome Dinner Mainz was developed based on the idea of the Welcome Dinner Hamburg. We liked the idea so much that we adopted it for the Mainz region.

Refugees can get to know local people better - and also some local dishes. Locals on the other hand can help out without investing much time or money, just by offering their kindness and hospitality. And maybe eventually a friendship can develop...

This project lives on your hospitality and participation. This is why you should fill out the participation form right now! :)

Everybody is welcome to join in, no matter who you are, what you do, how large or small your place is, how well you can actually cook, the top priority here is getting to know each other.
